Hear From Our Clients
A reputation built on 350+ client experiences across our premier locations.
Here’s the thing about living in New York: your skin takes a beating. Subway air, weather swings, pollution, stress—it all shows up on your face eventually. Dullness, uneven texture, clogged pores, fine lines that seem to appear overnight.
Most facials just scratch the surface. You walk out glowing for a day, maybe two, then you’re right back where you started. That’s not a facial—that’s a temporary fix.
A real facial treatment addresses what’s actually happening beneath your skin. It clears congestion, jumpstarts cell turnover, hydrates at the level your skin actually needs it. You’re not just looking better for the weekend. You’re giving your skin what it needs to function the way it should—long-term.
That’s what happens when the person treating your skin knows what they’re doing and has the tools to back it up.
We’ve been serving clients across Queens and the surrounding areas for over 15 years. Our team is led by licensed medical professionals, including a nurse practitioner with advanced training in aesthetic treatments and thousands of hours of hands-on experience.
Every treatment is supervised by doctors and delivered by licensed estheticians who stay current on techniques, technology, and what actually works. This isn’t a day spa offering relaxation with a side of skincare. We’re a med spa built around real results, medical-grade products, and personalized care.
Neponsit and the Rockaway Peninsula deserve access to that level of expertise without having to trek into Manhattan. That’s why we bring professional-grade facial treatments right to your community—with the credentials and track record to prove it.
First, your esthetician evaluates your skin. Not a quick glance—an actual assessment of your skin type, concerns, texture, hydration levels, and any problem areas. This determines which treatment approach makes sense for you.
Then comes the treatment itself. Depending on what your skin needs, that might include deep cleansing, exfoliation through microdermabrasion or chemical peels, extractions to clear clogged pores, and application of medical-grade serums targeted to your specific concerns. If your skin responds better to laser facials or other advanced modalities, those options are available too.
The process typically takes about an hour. There’s no lengthy recovery period—most people go straight back to their day. Your esthetician will also walk you through any at-home care that’ll help maintain results between visits.
It’s straightforward. You come in with a concern, you leave with a plan and visible improvement.

We offer a range of facial treatments designed to address different skin concerns. That includes everything from hydrating facials for dry, dehydrated skin to deep-cleansing treatments for congestion and acne-prone areas. Chemical peels help with texture, tone, and pigmentation issues. Laser facials target deeper concerns like fine lines, sun damage, and collagen production. Microdermabrasion smooths rough texture and preps skin to absorb treatment products more effectively.
Living in Neponsit means your skin is exposed to salt air, wind off the water, and the same urban pollution that affects the rest of Queens. Those factors influence how your skin behaves—and how it should be treated. A good facial accounts for that.
Each treatment is customized based on your consultation. You’re not getting a one-size-fits-all protocol. You’re getting a facial designed around your skin’s current condition, your goals, and what’ll actually move the needle. That’s the difference between a spa treatment and a skincare strategy.
Most people see the best results when they get facials every four to six weeks. That timing aligns with your skin’s natural cell turnover cycle, which takes about 28 days on average.
If you’re dealing with specific concerns like acne, hyperpigmentation, or significant sun damage, we might recommend starting with treatments every three to four weeks until you see improvement. Once your skin stabilizes, you can often stretch it to every six to eight weeks for maintenance.
Consistency matters more than frequency. One facial every few months won’t give your skin the momentum it needs to make lasting changes. Regular treatments build on each other—clearing congestion, improving texture, and keeping your skin in better shape overall.
A traditional spa facial focuses primarily on relaxation and surface-level cleansing. It feels nice, but the products and techniques are usually gentler and less targeted.
A medical spa facial uses clinical-grade products and advanced techniques that penetrate deeper into the skin. Think chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser treatments, and medical-grade serums. These treatments are performed by licensed estheticians working under medical supervision, which means we can address concerns like acne scarring, pigmentation, fine lines, and texture issues more aggressively and effectively.
You’ll still get a relaxing experience at our med spa, but the focus is on measurable results. If you want your skin to look different in a month—not just for the rest of the day—a medical spa facial is the better choice.
It depends on the type of facial and how your skin responds. Most basic facials cause little to no redness—you might have some slight pinkness for an hour or two, but nothing dramatic.
More intensive treatments like chemical peels, microdermabrasion, or laser facials can cause temporary redness or sensitivity. That’s actually a sign the treatment is working—it means your skin is actively responding and beginning the renewal process. This type of redness usually fades within a few hours to a day.
Your esthetician will let you know what to expect based on the treatment you’re getting. If you have an event coming up, mention it during your consultation so we can time your facial accordingly or adjust the intensity. Most people schedule more aggressive treatments on a Friday so their skin has the weekend to calm down before heading back to work.
Facials can absolutely help with acne, especially when performed at a medical spa where our estheticians use clinical-grade products and treatments. Regular facials help keep pores clear, reduce inflammation, and prevent new breakouts from forming.
That said, if you’re dealing with severe cystic acne, hormonal acne that won’t respond to topical treatments, or scarring, a dermatologist should be your first stop. They can prescribe medications or treatments that go beyond what’s available in a facial setting.
The good news is that facials and dermatology treatments can work together. Many people see a dermatologist for prescription-level care and get regular facials to maintain clear skin between visits. We can also adjust treatments based on any prescriptions you’re using to make sure everything works together without irritating your skin.
Honestly, you don’t need to do much. Show up with a clean face if possible—no makeup is ideal, but if you’re coming straight from work or another commitment, we’ll cleanse your skin as part of the treatment anyway.
Avoid any aggressive exfoliation or new skincare products for about three days before your appointment. If your skin is already irritated or sensitized, it limits what we can do during your facial.
If you’re getting a more intensive treatment like a chemical peel or laser facial, we might give you specific prep instructions during your consultation. Otherwise, just come as you are and let us handle the rest.
Yes. We carry professional-grade skincare products that you can purchase to use at home. These are the same or similar formulations used during your facial treatments.
Your esthetician can recommend specific products based on your skin type and concerns. That might include cleansers, serums, moisturizers, or treatment products like retinol or vitamin C. The benefit of buying from us is that you’re getting products your esthetician knows will work with your skin—not guessing based on what’s trending online.
You’re never obligated to buy anything. But if you want to extend the results of your facial between appointments, the right at-home products make a noticeable difference. Your esthetician will walk you through what’s worth investing in and what you can skip.
